Amy C. Fillman, D.D.S.

Dr. Fillman was born in Pasadena, Texas. Her family soon moved to Deer Park, where she and her younger brother Travis were raised. Dr. Fillman attended Deer Park High School, where she was a dedicated student and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

From high school, Amy went directly to College Station, where she attended Texas A&M for four years. Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a minor in Psychology. Gig 'Em Aggies! It was at Texas A&M where Dr. Fillman decided she wanted to become a dentist. She was a member of the Predental Society, the Academic Honor Society, and was on the Dean's List. She volunteered with many healthcare professionals including various dentists, and decided to dedicate herself to helping people improve their oral health.

After graduating college, Dr. Fillman traveled to Dallas, TX where she received a scholarship to attend Baylor College of Dentistry. Due to Baylor's great clinical program, Dr. Fillman developed her dental technical skills, and she was accepted to an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Following the completion of four years of dental school, the AEGD program provided her with in-depth instruction of implant and cosmetic dentistry, as well as fine-tuning her surgical and clinical skills. Dr. Fillman's training in the placement and restoration of implants has been beneficial to many patients.

Dr. Fillman was married in May 2005 to Dr. David Laing, a member of her graduating class at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Fillman and Dr. Laing reside in Katy with their three sons Cole, Collin, and Connor, and their rescued dogs Burger (miniature schnauzer) and Rusty (chocolate Labrador retriever).
